So today wasnt too bad either.
I've begun to lose water weight, which i guess looks impressive on paper, but i'll be putting it all back on pretty soon. I started at 53kg. Probably should have put that in yesterday's post, but i forgot.
Side note: the water weight lost is from my glycogen reserves being depleted. Since im not ingesting carbs, my glycogen is decreasing. And since water is a by-product of my glycogen stores being burned (3g of water per gram of glycogen), im losing that too.
Had pork and boiled vegetables with melted cheese for dinner. Also, almonds are the stupidest snack. Hand me a pack of chips anyday. I'd rather the saturated fats over the 'health nut' food. That was a feeble attempt at a pun.
Did a workout today as well. Didnt really focus on a specific part of the body, just worked my way up. So legs, then core, then arms. Not exactly the best format, but I needed something to kickstart the whole of my body back into resistance training. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get a short run in and then i'll focus on core. Or legs. Or arms. I guess whichever hurts the least tomorrow. I pushed it pretty hard (by my standards) today.
DOMS (delayed onset of muscle soreness) has already begun to take effect as i sit here, procrastinating uni work in favour of youtube clips.
Physically, i dont feel any different i guess. Just thirsty, and im craving the convenience of eating whatever's handy, and not having to worry about the carb or sugar content of the food. How on earth do Atkins kids do it?
